WHAT IS MOLE AND VOLE REPELLENT?
Our method uses a castor oil based product to repel burrowing animals. This biodegradable product is safe around children and pets.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
REPEL by Hertzler & George works by making your plants unpalatable to pests. This treatment does not kill anything. To be effective, we must treat your entire yard: lawn, beds and all. The material coats underground insects and plant parts, making them unpalatable to the moles and voles.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE APPLICATION?
You can choose to lightly water the treated area to activate the product, or simply wait for the next rainfall. After application, burrowing activity may increase as animals leave the treated area.
WILL I NEED TO TREAT AGAIN?
Once applied REPEL by Hertzler & George will last from one month to several months, depending on a variety of factors. We automatically follow-up with a second application one month after the first. Beyond that, we ask that you call us when you see renewed activity so we can re-apply.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
The answer depends in part on the severity of the problem. While results will vary, some customers have seen immediate results. The goal of the REPEL by Hertzler & George program is to recondition pests, training them to look for food in other areas, i.e. the bad-neighbor’s yard.
