Ken Thompson

is the heart and soul of the technical services performed by GreenGuard / Hertzler & George.  He has a BS degree in Biology from William & Mary, is a VNLA Certified Horticulturist, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the job. His goal, personally and professionally, is environmental sustainability and he works daily to ensure that GreenGuard / Hertzler & George’s services are as environmentally sensitive as possible. "GreenGuard" is not just a name to him, but a motto for the company. He has been a Master Gardener since 1983 and enjoys teaching gardening classes, maintaining his fluency in Spanish and outdoor activities such as camping and canoeing.
