We were very impressed with the thorough job that Ed and his co-worker did in pruning all of our shrubs and bushes yesterday. We really could not believe all that they accomplished from the time they arrived at 3 pm and worked steadfastly until 6 pm. Ed made sure he knew what we needed at the start and ensured all was completed by the time they left. We were very pleased with the quality of their work in such heat.

I called Joe Hertzler at 9am on a Monday and asked him to cut/trim the grounds because our team would be there by noon. He redirected his staff and had them there by 10:30 am. I just want to send back some very positive feedback on Joshua. He was very responsive yesterday despite the late hour and the situation with his truck. He is always very professional, listens carefully to our needs and does his work with a smile. Very nice representative for H&G.

Just a note to compliment Martha Poe on her visit to my house today. This was a Bed Pre-Emergent treatment, she spent considerable time removing the grasses that had moved into beds. While I can’t say for sure that this had never been before I can’t recall ever seeing anyone take the time to do this before treating the areas. I think she is a good addition to your staff.

Your company took such excellent care of our lawn that we never had to worry about what it would look like when we returned home, so again, thank you. We will, of course, recommend you to the new homeowners, and our friends. We are living in New England now, and are back to cutting our own grass!

We love the new path! Its just what we wanted — and so happy that we didn’t have to do the back-injuring labor. The rain garden caught quite a lot of water during the rain on Saturday and Sunday – looks like it will help substantially with the runoff issues.

Thank you, so much for your garden design. It is wonderful. My herbs love their new raised bed home. After being in pots for three months they have doubled in size in the last two weeks. Vegetables for fall are planted in the second bed. the shrubs seem to be thriving. I so appreciate the thought and planning that went into my yard. It is exactly what I wanted.

I have been watching a remodeling and yard project just off Jamestown Road, and Hertzler & George has done an outstanding job landscaping around a new porch. It looks absolutely wonderful. If I ever needed anybody, they would be the ones to call.

Could you please have your management pass along our appreciation to Craig and Robert for their superior job pruning this morning. As with the May pruning, our tress, shrubs, and plants will flourish better and look better as well. In addition to aesthetics, their pruning was also done with an eye towards health of the plants as well as sunlight for some shady spots of the lawn. Special care was also given to pruning away from the house to prevent bugs and other critters from coming migrating to the sides or roof of our home. Accommodating us while the dog is out of the house and arriving exactly at the time requested to Michael makes life easier and I thought both Craig and Robert courteous, professional and a pleasure to work with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our landscape meeting with Jeff Willett today. We found him to be very knowledgeable, willing to share landscape design suggestions and he interacted easily and professionally with each of our committee members. He supplied us with information that we needed regarding costs of design plans and estimated costs for design installation.

Michael was very good in keeping us informed about the pruning schedule and we just wanted you to know that Craig and Matt (James) did an excellent job in pruning all our shrubs and bushes, etc. on Friday. They really needed to be trimmed and we are very pleased with the results.

 would just like to thank you all for getting here so fast on my panic over the fungus on my yard. I told Cal that I had a dream that I woke up and the whole yard was gone because of fungus. So thank you very much for getting here so fast. It has relieved my mind.
